Algorithm for Change is a $1.5 million dollar competition designed to encourage innovative thinking and application of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and augmented reality (xR) to address enduring challenges in U.S. post-secondary education. Algorithm for Change is comprised of two separate competitions: the AI/ML track, administered by the NYU Social Entrepreneurship Program, and the xR track, administered by Techstars.

In this round, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) innovators are invited to submit their education-focused concepts/ products in one of three categories for consideration. Applications must be completed in their entirety, including a team profile and short proposal. The proposal should provide judges with a high-level, clear and compelling understanding of your solution using the fields provided in the form, such as problem definition, audience, theory of change and anticipated impact.
